Ukraine Develops Rugged Frontline Power Modules for Extreme Combat Conditions
Ukrainian engineers from STRUMKO ENERGY have developed specialized power modules designed to withstand the harsh realities of frontline combat. Unveiled at the SAHA 2026 defense exhibition in Istanbul, these systems feature IP65 dust and water resistance, capable of surviving drops and vehicle impacts. A key advantage is their zero thermal signature and silent operation, as they lack internal combustion engines, making them invisible to enemy thermal and acoustic reconnaissance. The modules ensure autonomous power for command posts, electronic warfare systems, and Starlink terminals. The STRUMKO system includes a modular design with a dedicated unit for charging multiple UAV batteries simultaneously, while the larger STRUMKO XXL station offers 16 kWh capacity. Equipped with battery heating, the units operate efficiently in temperatures as low as -20°C. Already deployed on the battlefield for over a year, these systems eliminate the need for fuel, oil, or regular maintenance. The company reports growing international interest, particularly from Middle Eastern nations, viewing the technology as an adaptive platform for various technical requirements.
