Tinubu Returns to Lagos After Diplomatic Tour of France, Kenya, and Rwanda

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has returned to Lagos following a significant three-nation diplomatic tour encompassing France, Kenya, and Rwanda. Arriving at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, he was received by key state officials including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. During his stay in France, Tinubu engaged with global investors, advocating for transparency and explaining the rationale behind his administration's bold economic reforms. In Kenya, he participated in the Africa Forward Summit alongside Presidents Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, where he called for reforms in global financial architecture and emphasized Africa's blue economy potential. The trip also included a bilateral meeting with the Madagascan President. In Rwanda, Tinubu attended the Africa CEO Forum, focusing on regional integration and cross-border investments, and held discussions with President Paul Kagame and representatives from major multinational firms. The presidency reported favorable outcomes from these engagements. Upon his return, Tinubu is scheduled to participate in the All Progressives Congress primaries, having urged party members to maintain peace and conduct themselves with sportsmanship during the electoral process.
