Scotland's Angus Gunn Concedes Four in San Jose Earthquakes Debut Defeat
Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn endured a difficult debut for San Jose Earthquakes, losing 4-0 at home to Orlando City in Major League Soccer's return after the World Cup break. Goals from David Brekalo, Ivan Angulo, Antoine Griezmann (on his debut), and Braian Ojeda sealed the win for Orlando. Gunn, 30, had not played a club game since February and was largely blameless for the goals, making several saves to prevent a heavier loss. Despite the defeat, San Jose remain tied on points at the top of the Western Conference, second on goal difference behind Vancouver Whitecaps. San Jose next host LA Galaxy on Sunday.
