Scotland's Angus Gunn Concedes Four in San Jose Earthquakes Debut Defeat
Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn endured a nightmare debut for San Jose Earthquakes as they lost 4-0 at home to Orlando City in their first match after Major League Soccer's World Cup break. Gunn, 30, had not played a club game since February and was coming off Scotland's World Cup exit. Despite conceding four goals, Gunn was not primarily at fault, making several saves to prevent a heavier loss. Orlando City scored through David Brekalo, Ivan Angulo, Antoine Griezmann (on his debut), and Braian Ojeda. San Jose remain tied on points atop the Western Conference but second on goal difference. They next host LA Galaxy.
