Russian Attacks Kill One in Zaporizhzhia, Injure Man in Kherson
Recent Russian military attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions have resulted in casualties and significant property damage. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, one person was killed during an enemy strike on the Polohy district, according to Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration. He reported that Russian forces conducted 772 strikes on 44 settlements in the region over the past day. In Kherson, a 66-year-old man sustained severe blast and shrapnel injuries to his head and thigh after a drone attack in the Dniprovskyi district. Local authorities stated he remains in critical condition as medical teams attempt to save his life. Meanwhile, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, nearly 20 attacks targeted two districts, including Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrovske hromadas. These strikes damaged an office building and two ambulances. Additional attacks in the Pavlohrad district affected nine houses, garages, outbuildings, and a car, though no civilian injuries were reported there. The incidents highlight the continued intensity of hostilities and the impact on civilian infrastructure and emergency services in southern and eastern Ukraine.
