RIMPAC 2026 SINKEX Highlights Expanding Allied Anti-Ship Capabilities
During the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026 exercise, U.S. and allied forces conducted a sinking exercise (SINKEX) off Hawaii, sinking two decommissioned warships: the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu and the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay.
