Replenish Nutrients secures $15 million strategic investment to expand production
Replenish Nutrients CEO Neil Wiens announced a strategic investment agreement with SRC Agrominerals, providing $7.5 million in growth capital and an additional $7.5 million debenture investment. SRC Agrominerals will acquire an initial 19.9% equity stake in Replenish. The partnership includes the appointment of SRC CEO Tim Close to Replenish's Board of Directors and Dr. David Morris as a board advisor. The investment will fund construction of a 150,000-metric-tonne pelletizing facility at the company's Beiseker, Alberta site, along with expanded storage and processing infrastructure, expected completion by Q1 2028. The companies also signed a long-term supply agreement for carbonatite, a mineral-rich resource, to be incorporated into Replenish's regenerative fertilizer products. Wiens stated the partnership provides capital and raw material supply to strengthen the company's regenerative agriculture platform and expand manufacturing capacity.
