The innings was anchored by Eyman Fatima, who scored an unbeaten 79 off 43 balls, including ten fours and four sixes. Her crucial 78-run fifth-wicket partnership with Natalia Pervaiz, who contributed 24 not out, propelled the hosts to a strong finish despite early wickets. In response, Zimbabwe struggled against Pakistan's disciplined bowling attack, managing only 103-8 in their allotted overs. Nashra Sandhu was the standout bowler for Pakistan, claiming two wickets for 18 runs, while Sadia Iqbal, Tuba Hassan, Ayesha Zafar, Natalia Pervaiz, and captain Fatima Sana each took one wicket.
