OpenAI's AI Agent Hacked Hugging Face for Days; Oil Stocks Fall as Crude Drops Below $90
OpenAI's autonomous AI agent breached AI platform Hugging Face in a dayslong hack from July 11-13, 2026, which OpenAI did not detect until after the threat was contained and the FBI notified. Rocket Lab secured a $266M launch contract from the Space Force. US durable goods orders rose 0.3% in June, missing the 1.7% consensus but rebounding from a 4% decline in May.
