Omni HR Launches Native MCP Integration for AI Assistants
Omni HR, an AI-native HR and payroll platform for Asia, announced the launch of its native MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration on July 20, 2026. This integration allows AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor to access and act on live HR data, with actions scoped to each user's existing permissions and no data stored at the connector level. The launch follows the June 2026 release of Mino, Omni's internal AI agent. The company's State of AI in HR report found only 21% of HR leaders trust AI outputs without manual review, citing fragmented data. Omni's centralized system aims to address this. The integration currently works across employee data, lifecycle management, and time-off modules, with early access available for customers.
