Netflix Enters Live Darts with 'Beat Luke Littler' Showcase Offering £500,000 Prize
Netflix is making its first foray into live darts broadcasting with a new show titled 'Beat Luke Littler,' set to air live on October 30. The program will feature 20 amateur darts enthusiasts competing against teenage world champion Luke Littler in a single-leg match for a chance to win £501,000. Produced in partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and Matchroom, the show aims to expand the sport's global audience, particularly in the US. Littler, who became world champion at age 17 in January 2025, has dominated the sport with 11 major titles and signed a £20m management deal with Target Darts. The move challenges Sky Sports' long-standing monopoly on professional darts coverage and follows Netflix's previous docuseries on Matchroom. The announcement comes after Littler retained his World Matchplay title by defeating Gerwyn Price.
