Moussa suffers new soleus muscle injury, out for weeks
Malian footballer Moussa, a center-back for Málaga CF, has suffered a new injury—a soleus muscle strain in his right leg—confirmed by medical tests after he reported discomfort. The injury will sideline him for several weeks, adding to a long history of physical setbacks since September 2022, including a fractured fifth metatarsal, a grade II knee ligament rupture, and an ankle sprain. He last played for Málaga's first team in October 2024. The club now has five other center-backs available, reducing the likelihood of a loan move for Moussa, who remains under contract until 2028. The player posted a motivational message on social media, saying 'It's not the end, it's just a part of the journey.'
