Minister Rajesh Kumar hands over offer letters to job fair recruits
On July 26, 2026, Tamil Nadu Tourism Minister S. Rajesh Kumar handed over offer letters to candidates selected at a job fair organized by the Kanniyakumari District Employment and Career Guidance Centre and the Tamil Nadu State Rural/Urban Livelihood Mission in Nagercoil. The Minister stated that the fair provided not only employment but also career guidance, counseling, and free skill development training. He noted that government vacancies are being filled promptly and that district-level job fairs are held regularly to create private sector opportunities. A total of 2,112 job seekers attended, with 482 candidates selected by various companies. The event was attended by Kanniyakumari Collector M. Prathap, MP Vijay Vasanth, MLA Austin, and other officials.
