Man in Clown Costume Convicted of Murdering British Model

Bhekisani Matabiswana, a 26-year-old man dressed as a clown, has been found guilty of murdering Luke Harden, a 36-year-old British male model, in northwest England. The brutal attack occurred last year after both men left the same Halloween party. Prosecutors described the assault as sudden and vicious, noting that Matabiswana repeatedly punched and stomped on Harden, who was intoxicated and unable to defend himself. Harden suffered catastrophic injuries, including a fractured skull and jaw, with the specific fatal wound remaining undetermined due to the severity of the trauma. Matabiswana initially lied to emergency services, claiming he found Harden collapsed and had attempted CPR, while witnesses confirmed he did nothing to help. Text messages revealed his intent to flee, and he was arrested two days later at Manchester Airport while attempting to escape to South Africa.
