Josefine Scholl, Daughter of Bayern Legend Mehmet Scholl, Cries on TV Discussing Rare Illness
Josefine Scholl (18), daughter of Bayern Munich legend Mehmet Scholl and girlfriend of Bayern star Tom Bischof, broke down in tears during the second episode of the ProSieben documentary 'Born Famous – Curse or Blessing?' while recounting her experience with McCune-Albright syndrome (MAS), a rare incurable genetic disease that weakens bones. She described breaking her thigh during an acrobatics performance in 2022, which led doctors to discover the disease affects her entire right side, not just her groin as previously thought. The condition has forced her to give up sports entirely, causing significant emotional distress. Scholl, who has 479,000 TikTok followers, revealed she experiences daily pain in her upper arm and right side. Despite her limitations, she now teaches younger students acrobatics through videos and pictures. The documentary also follows three other celebrity children: Gloria-Sophie Burkandt, Summer Terenzi, and Diego Pooth.
