HENSOLDT Joins Boeing's German MQ-28 Ghost Bat Industry Team
At the Farnborough Airshow, Boeing and HENSOLDT signed a Memorandum of Understanding formalizing HENSOLDT's participation in Boeing's German MQ-28 Ghost Bat industry team. HENSOLDT joins existing partners Rheinmetall, Diehl Defence, and Rohde & Schwarz to support Boeing's proposal for the German Air Force. HENSOLDT will provide mission-critical sensor systems, mission system components, and integration services, leveraging its experience in maintenance and in-service support. The team aims to integrate German key technologies, industrial capacities, and support services to deliver a locally supported Collaborative Combat Aircraft. Dr. Michael Haidinger, President of Boeing Germany, emphasized HENSOLDT's expertise in sensor technology and mission system integration as strengthening the team's ability to offer an integrated, sovereign, Germany-based solution. Dietmar Thelen, Head of HENSOLDT's Multi-Domain Solutions Division, noted the partnership goes beyond sensors to include mission system integration and embedding national key technologies.
