Germany Leads Worldwide in Antisemitic Attacks; Berlin Video Shows Hitler Salute Incident
A new report from the J7 Task Force against Anti-Semitism reveals that Germany has the highest rate of antisemitic incidents among seven major countries, with nearly 70 incidents per 1,000 Jewish residents in 2025. The article highlights a specific incident in Berlin where a Jewish community leader was threatened with death and subjected to a Hitler salute on his way to synagogue. The suspect was arrested and identified himself as 'Muhammad Ali'. Overall, antisemitic incidents in J7 countries (Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, UK, USA) rose 136% since 2022, with Germany seeing a 215% increase. Violent incidents increased 97%, and 20 people were killed in antisemitic attacks, including 15 in a Sydney Hanukkah celebration attack. The Jewish community warns that antisemitism is a present reality, not just a memory of the past.
