German Writer and Flutist Present 'Horizon' Travel Concerts in Peru
The cultural program 'Horizon' (Horizonte) is set to be presented in Peru through a collaboration between the German Embassy, the German Peruvian Cultural Institute (ICPA), and the German Peruvian Cultural Association (ACUPARI). The show features Dr. Peter Münch, an award-winning journalist and writer formerly with Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Christiane Peterseim, a former solo flutist of the Israel Chamber Orchestra. Together, they recount their experiences from a year-long journey around the world undertaken in 2025, primarily by bus and train. Their performances combine Münch’s written reflections on life and travel with Peterseim’s flute music. The duo, who met in Tel Aviv, toured Europe, Asia, Oceania, and South America to gather material for the show. The program will be held in three Peruvian cities: Arequipa on May 23, Cusco on May 27, and Lima on May 30, 2026. Presentations will be in German with Spanish text projections available. Admission is free, subject to venue capacity, and each event concludes with an honorary wine reception.
