Galatasaray Issues Official Statement Denying Jamal Musiala Transfer Rumors
Turkish Süper Lig champions Galatasaray have released an official statement denying recent rumors that they had reached an agreement with Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala and the German club for a loan or transfer. The rumors, which originated from Turkish daily Hürriyet about a week ago, claimed Musiala had been offered to Galatasaray. The 23-year-old German international, who has 46 caps and scored at the World Cup, is under contract with Bayern until 2030. Musiala missed the first half of the 2025-26 season due to a fibula fracture and underwent surgery after the World Cup to remove a metal plate from his left foot. He is set to join Bayern's Asia tour in August. Bayern recently signed Ismael Saibari for €50 million, adding competition in attacking midfield, but the club and player have no plans to separate this summer.
