Former scout warns Tottenham against selling World Cup star Djed Spence
Former Tottenham scout Bryan King has warned the club against selling full-back Djed Spence, who impressed for England at the recently concluded World Cup. Spence, 25, has been linked with moves to Inter Milan and Everton, with Inter making initial contact with his agency. King compared Spence to club legend Ledley King, praising his versatility, work rate, and potential. Despite his World Cup performances, Spence faces competition at Tottenham from new signing Andy Robertson and Pedro Porro, and started only twice in the last seven games under manager Roberto De Zerbi. King urged the club to make Spence a mainstay rather than sell him for financial reasons.
