Exus Renewables secures $356m for Pennsylvania wind farms

Exus Renewables North America has closed approximately $356 million in construction financing to support two wind energy projects in Pennsylvania, US. The financing will go towards the Cambria Wind Farm (61.6MW) and the Highland North Wind Farm (75MW), both located in Cambria County and currently being repowered. KeyBanc Capital Markets coordinated the arrangement with additional financial partners. Both facilities will be equipped with turbines from Vestas and are expected to begin commercial operations in September 2026. These developments will increase Exus Renewables' wind energy capacity in Pennsylvania, where it already owns over 306.9MW, including the operational Twin Ridges Wind Farm. Exus Renewables North America president and CEO Jim Spencer noted that demand for clean energy from data centers and large corporations is accelerating. Hunton Andrews Kurth provided legal counsel to Exus, while Paul Hastings advised the lenders.
