L'Équipe: Intermediaries Seek New Club for De Bruyne; Turkish and Saudi Interest Not Serious
According to French media L'Équipe's journalist Loïc Tanzi, Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne may leave Napoli after just one season despite having one year left on his contract. The 35-year-old joined Napoli on a free transfer from Manchester City in summer 2025 but failed to secure a regular starting position. He made 21 appearances across all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists, but this was insufficient to convince Napoli's management to renew his contract. Multiple intermediaries are now seeking a new club for him. However, a move to a top European club is considered unlikely due to his age. Turkish clubs have shown interest but have not taken concrete action. Saudi Arabia remains a realistic option, though the country currently prefers signing younger players.
