Drone Commander Robert Brovdi Disrupts Russian Recruitment with High-Casualty Tactics

Robert Brovdi, a former businessman and art enthusiast from Transcarpathia, has transformed into Ukraine’s most prominent drone commander, known by the nickname Magyar. Initially volunteering in 2022, Brovdi recognized the limitations of traditional trench warfare and established his own specialized unit, the Birds of Magyar. Starting with cheap reconnaissance drones in Kherson, his unit evolved to deploy deadly attack drones that played a crucial role in the defense of Bachmut and other key fronts.
