Deportivo Targets Veteran Defender Juan Jesus as Transfer Window Continues
Deportivo de La Coruña, having already signed Pierre Aubameyang as their sixth summer acquisition, is prioritizing the signing of a left-footed center-back and a full-back to finalize their squad for their return to Spain's top flight. According to journalist Angel García, the club is targeting veteran Brazilian center-back Juan Jesus, a 35-year-old free agent who has played for Inter, Roma, and Napoli. In his last season in Italy, he appeared in around twenty matches. The club is also interested in Rennes defender Lilian Brassier, 26, who can play both center-back and left-back. Deportivo plans to add up to four more players, including a right winger and a forward, with a total of ten signings expected this summer. The club has invested heavily in young talent with long-term contracts while also adding experienced players like Aubameyang to balance the squad for the upcoming season.
