Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Gets Unusual Simultaneous SVOD and PVOD Streaming Premiere
Forbes reports that 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle' will debut on streaming in an unusual simultaneous release on both premium video on demand (PVOD) and streaming video on demand (SVOD) on July 28, 2026. The Sony Pictures Entertainment/Crunchyroll film, which premiered in Japan over a year ago on July 18, 2025, and in North American theaters on September 12, 2025, had been held back from home entertainment. Instead, it received limited theatrical re-releases in IMAX (Japan, two venues) and SCREENX (US/Canada). The film will be available for digital purchase at $19.99 and rental at $14.99 on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, while also streaming on Crunchyroll for subscribers at tiers ranging from $9.99 to $17.99 per month. The R-rated film follows Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the Hashira into the Infinity Castle for the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji.
