Copenhagen-based healthtech startup Corti has announced the launch of its Startup Acceleration Program, a no-equity initiative designed to support healthcare AI builders globally. The program provides access to Corti’s clinical-grade AI models, including its flagship Symphony system, which recently outperformed OpenAI on the HealthBench Professional benchmark. This initiative aims to help founders navigate the increasingly stringent regulatory landscape for healthcare AI, particularly in Europe where the EU AI Act imposes high-risk system requirements effective August 2026. With certification costs ranging from €200,000 to €600,000 and significant time investments, many startups struggle to enter the market. Corti’s grant-funded program offers up to $5,000 in credits across its full stack, allowing developers to focus on specialized workflows rather than rebuilding foundational infrastructure. The move comes as capital concentrates in later-stage rounds and major players like OpenEvidence withdraw from European markets due to regulatory uncertainty.
