City-Killer Asteroid 2026 JH2 Makes Close Flyby of Earth
A newly discovered asteroid, designated 2026 JH2, is scheduled to pass within 56,000 miles of Earth on Monday, May 18th. This distance represents approximately one-quarter of the space between Earth and the Moon, marking it as one of the closest approaches by a potentially hazardous object without impact.
