Bayern Munich Begins Summer Training Camp at Lake Tegernsee
Bayern Munich officially started their summer training camp at Lake Tegernsee on July 27, with the first group of six professional players arriving by bus at 12:44 PM. The team is staying at the five-star 'Gut Eggen' hotel for the first time, owned by the Ehrmann family, sponsors of Bayern's women's team. Among the early arrivals were midfield talent Tom Bischof, backup goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, and loan returnee Arijon Ibrahimović. Three players on the verge of leaving—João Palhinha, Sacha Boey, and Armindo Sieb—also participated, while Bryan Zaragoza remained in Munich due to knee inflammation. The camp includes two closed and three open training sessions at Birkenmoos stadium, with about 1,400 fans attending the first open session featuring many youth players. A friendly match against regional league team Rottach-Egern is scheduled for Thursday. World Cup participants Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich are expected to join on Tuesday after fitness tests.
