Barke police arrest three members of international burglary gang, recover stolen valuables worth ₹10 lakh
The Barke police in Mangaluru arrested three Nepali men—Tilak Kumar Khadka (36), Ashok Raj (33), and Dipender Rasaili (25)—alleged members of an international burglary gang. They were charged with housebreaking and theft after a July 11 burglary in Matadakani, where 64 grams of gold ornaments and ₹25,000 cash (total ₹8.57 lakh) were stolen. Police recovered all stolen valuables, plus 790 grams of silver articles stolen from a house in Nashik, Maharashtra. The accused also confessed to a March 2026 burglary attempt in Urwa. They face charges in over 15 burglaries across Karnataka (including Bengaluru, Davangere, Udupi), Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Haryana. They will be produced in court.
