AGL and REasy Launch China-Cameroon Groupage Shipping Service for SMEs

Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Cameroon has partnered with REasy, a trade finance platform, to launch a specialized groupage shipping service designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) importing goods from China. This initiative addresses common challenges in cross-border trade, such as fragmented logistics, lack of visibility, and complex payment systems, by integrating digital payments, international shipping, and end-to-end tracking into a unified system. Under the agreement, REasy manages the digital layer for transactions, while AGL handles physical logistics, including cargo consolidation, freight transport, warehousing, and customs clearance. The partnership leverages recent investments, including REasy’s $1.8 million pre-seed funding and AGL’s CFA2 billion infrastructure upgrade. With China being a critical supply market for Cameroon, evidenced by $276 million in imports in March 2026, this service aims to streamline trade flows. The first pilot container arrived on April 29, 2026. Both companies intend to expand this model to other African markets, enhancing structured trade corridors between African businesses and international suppliers while strengthening AGL’s position in Asia-Africa logistics.
