Hupu June 26th — The Athletic UK's lead reporter David Ornstein has reported that Arsenal have made a verbal offer for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães.
The offer, communicated to Newcastle via intermediaries, is worth under £60 million and has been rejected by the Northeast club.
Newcastle insist they will not consider selling the 28-year-old Brazilian, who is currently with his national team in North America preparing for a World Cup round of 32 match against Japan.
Guimarães joined Newcastle from Lyon in January 2022 and has established himself as a key player under manager Eddie Howe.
