Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Accounting and Financial Reporting Authority (AFRA) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on September 28, expanding their regulatory cooperation beyond listed entities' financial reporting and related audits. 28 September 2024 – The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Accounting and Financial Reporting Authority (AFRA) of Hong Kong today signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), extending their regulatory cooperation beyond the oversight of listed entities' financial reporting and related audit work.
The new MoU covers the financial and compliance reporting of:
- Licensed corporations
