On September 28, A-share major indexes fell sharply, with about 4,800 stocks declining. The Shanghai Composite dropped 1.74%, the Shenzhen Component fell 3.37%, and the ChiNext and STAR Composite each lost 4.32%. The communication sector led losses, falling over 7%. In contrast, the 'Big Three' oil stocks—PetroChina, CNOOC, and Sinopec—rose notably, with PetroChina gaining over 2% at one point. The banking sector was relatively resilient, with ICBC rising nearly 1.5%. Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose over 1%, led by NetEase and PetroChina. Keytop Agent AI, a Hong Kong-listed stock, surged over 30% after announcing increased R&D investment in AI and the development of its Keytop Agent AI agent platform, which features autonomous task planning and execution.
