September 22 — At the OPPO Find X10 Series and Flagship Ecosystem New Product Launch Event, OPPO Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer Liu Zuohu announced that the company has established six global R&D centers and filed over 125,000 technology patent applications.
“Our sustained investment is aimed at turning technological progress into real, tangible products and experiences that users can truly feel,” Liu said.
Imaging Focus
During the event, OPPO placed a strong emphasis on imaging capabilities. Liu noted that the new smartphone series continues the company’s long-standing imaging strategy. OPPO’s imaging approach is guided by the mission of “true-to-life restoration,” with systematic exploration across areas such as image quality, color, and light and shadow.
Hardware and Chipset
On the hardware front, an OPPO product executive confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max is powered by the 2nm “MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro” chip, one of the first 2nm flagship chipsets for the Android ecosystem developed by MediaTek.
MediaTek Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer Chen Guanzhou stated that in the era of AI, the chip’s redesigned dual-NPU architecture delivers improvements in both performance and energy efficiency. The on-device large language model context processing capability has been significantly enhanced, while memory usage and power consumption have been substantially reduced.
