On September 22, 2026, Tineco, a Chinese floor washer manufacturer, held a press conference in Beijing to launch its new service brand, TinecoCare. The company, which claims to have invented the smart floor washer in 2020 and has led or participated in setting five industry standards, is now aiming to redefine after-sales service. TinecoCare introduces four service systems: an AI intelligent diagnostic system, proactive health monitoring and lifecycle care, a certified engineer network, and a timeliness and satisfaction guarantee system. The initiative responds to data showing after-sales service is the top consumer complaint category in China's home appliance sector. Tineco CEO Leng Ling stated that the company's journey has evolved from defining products to defining standards and now to defining service. The company reports it has been the global sales leader in floor washers for four consecutive years, with a 35% global market share in 2025 and over 23 million cumulative users worldwide.

Beijing, September 22 — Tineco held its "Tineco Floor Washer: Defining Every Generation & Tineco Service Brand Launch" event in Beijing. From inventing the smart floor washer and defining the product category in 2020, to leading or participating in the formulation of industry standards five times, and now launching a service brand in 2026, Tineco used this event to fully articulate its progressive path of "defining every generation." At the press conference, Tineco officially unveiled its service brand, TinecoCare, positioning itself as the "definer of AI smart service standards" and redefining the after-sales service paradigm for home appliances.
Every Generation of Product: From Creation to Definition
Six years ago, Tineco invented the smart floor washer, integrating suction, mopping, washing, and self-cleaning into a single operation, creating an entirely new product category. Over the past six years, each technological breakthrough—including the constant-pressure live water cleaning system, soft-pack batteries with 3x cycle life, AI omnidirectional intelligent assistance, a 380°C high-temperature steam source, and a maintenance-free experience with automatic water filling and drainage—has become the starting point for the next generation of products.
This iterative curve is supported by technological compounding. As of April 2026, Tineco holds a cumulative total of 1,404 granted patents, including 330 invention patents. At the 2026 IFA exhibition, Tineco launched the FLOOR ONE S11 Artist Fusion Steam floor washer, which for the first time combines 230°C HyperSteam technology with the HeatBoost mopping system, redefining deep cleaning with 35kPa suction power and 110 minutes of battery life.
The market has validated this approach: Tineco floor washers have been the global sales leader for four consecutive years, with a global market share of 35% in 2025 and overseas business accounting for 47% of total revenue. The brand holds the number-one market position in 14 countries, including Germany, France, the UK, the US, Japan, and Thailand, and has accumulated over 23 million users worldwide.
Looking toward the AI era, Tineco has proposed a vision of "carbon-silicon fusion": carbon-based humans are responsible for insight, creativity, and warmth, while silicon-based AI provides data, computing power, and intelligence. The two merge to enable machines to understand and cooperate with people, continuously defining every future generation.
Every Generation of Standards: From Participation to Leadership
The development of a product category requires the support of standards. Tineco has led or participated in the formulation of floor washer industry standards five times:
- 2021: Participated in drafting the first group standard T/CHEAA 0018 and the performance grading standard T/CAS 551.
- 2023: Participated in drafting the national standard GB/T 38048.
- 2025: Served as the main drafting unit for the group standard T/CHEAA 0052-2025, "Household Floor Washer Base Station Installation Configuration Requirements."
- March 2026: The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved the industry standard QB/T 8202-2026 for "Household and Similar Use Floor Washers."
These five standard-setting efforts answered a single question: what level of performance should this product category achieve?
Every Generation of Trust: From Enterprise to Industry
Wang Lei, President of the China Household Electrical Appliances Association, attended the event and delivered a speech. From an industry perspective, she noted that it is the continuous innovation of companies like Tineco that has propelled China's cleaning appliance industry to the forefront of the global stage. The association will continue to fulfill its supervisory duties, promoting industry self-discipline and service quality improvement. Lv Laiming, a member of the China Consumers Association expert panel and a professor at the Beijing Technology and Business University Law School, interpreted the industry significance of after-sales service upgrades from the perspective of consumer rights protection.
In his keynote speech, Tineco CEO Leng Ling stated: "Defining every generation through products is Tineco's starting point; defining every generation through standards is Tineco's self-awareness; defining every generation through service is Tineco's commitment to users."
Every Generation of Service: From Commitment to Delivery
After-sales service for home appliances is currently the top pain point in consumer complaints. According to the China Consumers Association's "2025 National Consumer Complaints Analysis Report," consumer associations nationwide handled 2,016,448 complaints in 2025, with 256,012 complaints related to household electronic and electrical appliances—ranking first among all product categories. By nature of complaint, after-sales service issues accounted for 27.68% of all complaints, ranking first in all complaint categories. Meanwhile, the floor washer category continues to grow rapidly: in 2025, domestic floor washer retail sales reached 16.2 billion RMB (up 14.9% year-on-year), with retail volume reaching 8.21 million units (up 24.2% year-on-year).
The TinecoCare service system is a systematic response to this pain point. At the event, Huang Hongying, Director of Tineco's Global User Experience Center, unveiled four major service systems:
- AI Smart Diagnostic System
- Proactive Health Monitoring & Full Lifecycle Care System
- Certified Engineer Network
- Timeliness Commitment & Satisfaction Guarantee System
Shifting from "passive response" to "active prevention" and from "one-time remedy" to "full-cycle companionship," TinecoCare ensures that service no longer needs to be remembered.
During the launch, Huang Hongying explained that behind these four systems lies Tineco's understanding of service: service should not be a one-time remedy but a natural extension of the product experience. From the "system notification" of AI smart diagnostics to the "early arrival" of proactive care; from the on-site commitment of the engineer network to the verifiable and traceable timeliness and satisfaction—TinecoCare enables service to happen earlier, respond faster, and feel lighter.
"Tineco floor washers: defining every generation"—this means not only defining great products for every generation but also defining the quality of service that every generation deserves.
