September 21 — The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee held a meeting to discuss documents to be submitted for review at the upcoming Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. The meeting focused on major issues concerning the sustained and unremitting efforts to enforce strict party governance in all respects.
Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
It was decided at the meeting that the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee will be held in Beijing from October 26 to 29.
