Fukui, September 17 (Jin10 Data) — The Fukui Prefectural Government announced on September 17 that Kansai Electric Power Company has initiated a manual shutdown of Unit 3 at the Mihama Nuclear Power Plant, located in Mihama Town, Fukui Prefecture.
According to reports, the shutdown was prompted by the discovery of water droplets near secondary loop piping that does not contain radioactive materials.
