SportsBayern Munich held an award ceremony at the Allianz Arena on August 29, where Harry Kane, Giulia Gwinn, and head coach Vincent Kompany officially received the 2026 individual awards organized by Germany's Kicker magazine. Kane was named German Footballer of the Year, Gwinn was named German Women's Footballer of the Year, and Kompany received the German Coach of the Year award, marking a clean sweep for the club. This is the first time in history that a single club has simultaneously held both the men's and women's Player of the Year awards, which Bayern called a 'historic treble.' Kane secured 272 votes, defeating teammate Michael Olise's 203 votes. Last season, Kane scored 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions, helping Bayern win a domestic double. This is Kane's first German Footballer of the Year award and he is the first English player to receive the honor. Kompany won Coach of the Year with 314 votes, while Gwinn received 106 votes, beating Bayern teammate Clara Bühl by 12 votes.
