SportsFrench media L'Équipe reports that Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool have reached an agreement for the transfer of Bradley Barcola for a fee slightly exceeding €140 million, including bonuses. This will become PSG's most profitable transfer, surpassing Neymar's €90 million move. The deal was finalized during meetings in Monaco between senior officials from both clubs. Barcola, who has agreed personal terms with Liverpool for weeks, will sign a five-year contract after a medical. As a consequence, Liverpool's Cody Gakpo is likely to move to Manchester City or Tottenham. PSG remains interested in signing another attacking player but missed out on Lyon's 17-year-old winger Adil Hamdani. Lyon will receive 3.5% of the fee via FIFA's solidarity mechanism but regrets not including a sell-on clause in the original deal with PSG.
