FinanceSU Group Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ: SUGP) announced Monday that its Macao subsidiary, Shine Union (Macao) Limited, secured exclusive distribution rights for Green Light Multiplex Co. Limited's Inspec Spider, an AI-assisted robotic infrastructure inspection system. The robotic system can climb masts up to 35 meters high, using multiple cameras and AI analysis to inspect high-mast lighting infrastructure from ground level, improving worker safety and efficiency. The technology has applications at airports, bridges, stadiums, highways, and tunnels, and has received a Silver Edison Award and a Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. Despite the positive news, SU Group shares fell 6.88% to $1.49 in premarket trading on Monday. CEO Dave Chan stated the partnership strengthens the company's new Macao operation and supports its geographic expansion strategy.
