FinanceFasset, a stablecoin-powered neobank, has achieved unicorn status after raising $68 million in a Series C funding round led by Japan's SBI Group, reaching a $1 billion valuation. The company, founded in 2019, allows customers to receive, hold, move, spend, and invest across currencies and asset classes. It processes over $40 billion in annualized transaction volume and has more than 3 million wallets across 125 countries and over 1,000 enterprise customers. The Series C follows a $51 million Series B announced in May, bringing total funds raised this year to $119 million. Fasset plans to use the proceeds to scale its Own Network, a regulated financial network connecting banks, telecoms, and payment providers, and to invest in agentic AI-enabled systems for corridor banking, stablecoin settlement, and tokenized asset infrastructure.
