India AI data center firm AM Intelligence orders 9,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin systems

AM Intelligence, an Indian AI infrastructure company based in Hyderabad, has placed a binding order for 9,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin systems as part of an $8-billion plan to build 1 gigawatt of computing capacity. The servers are expected to come online in southern India next year, targeting customers including major cloud-service providers, AI labs, and organizations developing homegrown Indian AI models. The company, part of the Greenko Group, leverages low-cost renewable power to offer competitive pricing. Initial capacity has been purchased by a US customer under a non-disclosure agreement. The group plans to reach 5GW of data center capacity by 2030 across India, Europe, and elsewhere, funding the buildout with debt and equity.
