Al Hilal pushing to sign Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli for £60m

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal is advancing negotiations to sign Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli. Arsenal is seeking around £60 million for the 25-year-old Brazilian international, who is open to the move. Talks are ongoing, and no agreement has been reached yet. Martinelli was not included in Arsenal's recent matchday squads. If completed, he would join Al Hilal's attacking additions this summer, following Crysencio Summerville. Martinelli's contract runs until 2027 with a club option for an extra year. Arsenal is open to selling if an attractive offer arrives, but the player has not actively pushed for a departure. Martinelli made 53 appearances last season, helping Arsenal win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final. Arsenal has already sold Leandro Trossard and Christian Nørgaard this summer and needs more departures.
