Take-Two subpoenas Microsoft and Discord for GTA 6 leaker 'CyberLeek' identity data

Take-Two Interactive, parent company of Rockstar Games, filed two DMCA subpoenas in the Southern District of New York on August 20, demanding that Microsoft and Discord identify the person or persons behind the 'CyberLeek' persona responsible for recent Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay leaks. The subpoenas, filed by Kirkland & Ellis attorneys, seek extensive data including MachineGuid and MSA device identifiers, IP addresses, phone numbers, linked accounts, and OneDrive contents for all members of three named Discord servers since June 1. The servers are Ødyssey.gg, '! Odyssey', and DarkViperAU. The Microsoft subpoena targets GitHub as a service provider, demanding device telemetry for systems with certain tool/file artifacts. A sixth gameplay video leaked on August 21, six days before GTA 6's Netflix premiere. Australian creator Matthew 'DarkViperAU' Judge denied involvement. CyberLeak claims to have a full working build and has published a manifesto against digital-only preorders.
