FinanceFR8 Solutions and 22 independent drivers have settled a federal civil RICO lawsuit in Florida. The drivers accused the company of altering rate sheets and hiding revenue from hauled loads, underpaying them under an agreement promising 88% of each load's linehaul rate. One disputed shipment showed a $7,000 difference between the rate displayed to drivers and the actual rate received by FR8. The court dismissed the case with prejudice on July 28, 2026, after a joint settlement notice was filed. Financial terms were not disclosed. The case highlights risks in percentage-based driver pay models, where accurate access to underlying load rates is critical. FR8 Solutions, based in Jacksonville, Florida, reports 65 power units and 78 drivers, and markets brokerage and cross-border services.
