FinanceDeoleo, the world's largest olive-oil producer, announced that its two largest investors—Ole Investments (a CVC Capital Partners entity holding 50.996%) and Alchemy Partners' ASO funds (holding 12.307% and 28.684%)—are reviewing strategic alternatives for their investment, including a possible sale of all or part of the company's assets and businesses. Spanish media reports indicate olive-oil peer Dcoop is leading a bid to acquire CVC's stake for €470 million, with other interested parties including Coricelli, New Princes Group, Avril, and Cobram Estate Olives. This follows a previous attempt by CVC to sell its stake in 2023 that was withdrawn due to waning buyer interest. Deoleo stated no definitive decision has been made and the process may not result in a transaction.
