FinanceL3Harris Technologies announced an abrupt leadership change, with CEO Chris Kubasik stepping down immediately after a board investigation found conduct inconsistent with the company's code of conduct. The conduct was unrelated to financial reporting, customer relationships, or operational performance. Sam Mehta, previously president of space and mission systems, was promoted to CEO. The transition comes amid key strategic moves, including a delayed IPO for the Missile Solutions segment (now expected by mid-2027) and the sale of a 60% stake in the space propulsion and power systems business to AE Industrial Partners. Lauren Barnes and Christopher Aebli were also promoted to lead business segments. Lewis Hay III was elected chairman of the board.
