SportsAccording to Croatian media outlet Index, reporter Tomislav Dragobratović revealed a major twist in Dinamo Zagreb's pursuit of goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. Agent Andy Bara has pushed forward a four-party agreement: Barcelona will sign Livakovic from Fenerbahce for €3 million plus bonuses, then loan him to Dinamo for one season. After the loan period, the Croatian goalkeeper will return to Barcelona to serve as a backup for starting goalkeeper Garcia. The deal involves Dinamo Zagreb, Livakovic, Fenerbahce, and Barcelona, all hoping to complete the transfer quickly. Livakovic, 31, spent the second half of last season on loan at Dinamo and helped the team win a double. The main obstacle had been Fenerbahce's transfer fee demand, but Bara's relationship with Barcelona president Joan Laporta opened up this potential win-win scenario. Barcelona's current backup goalkeeper is 36-year-old Wojciech Szczęsny, whose contract runs until 2027, after which Livakovic would fill his position.
