The 28-year-old England international has been Arsenal's top target all summer. Negotiations are progressing rapidly after executives from both clubs narrowed the valuation gap. Arsenal are seeking defensive reinforcements due to injuries to William Saliba and Jurriën Timber. Konsa, who can play both center-back and right-back, has two years left on his Villa contract. He was a key member of England's World Cup squad and has made 286 appearances for Villa since joining in 2019.
