Crystal Palace signs 19-year-old US forward Zavier Gozo for £11m

Crystal Palace has officially announced the signing of 19-year-old American forward Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake for a reported fee of £11 million. Gozo, born in Utah, joined the Real Salt Lake academy in 2021 and made his MLS debut in October 2023 at age 16. In the 2026 season, he recorded 6 goals and 4 assists in 16 league appearances, earning a spot in the MLS All-Star Game. He has also represented the US at various youth levels, including the U-20 CONCACAF Championship and U-20 World Cup. Gozo signed a five-year contract and is Crystal Palace's sixth summer signing. Club chairman Steve Parish expressed delight, while Gozo called playing in the Premier League a dream.
